Who we need
We are looking for a forward-thinking lecturer to join our Foundation Learning team at our Adams campus in the city centre. The successful candidate will have experience of teaching, learning and assessment within further education or an alternative provision setting. We welcome applications from individuals with a broad range of professional and lived experiences, including those who may be newer to teaching but bring relevant skills, passion and commitment to working with young people.
You will have an understanding of the needs of 16–18-year-olds and a genuinecommitment to helping all students succeed.
You will join a supportive faculty, where enthusiasm, creativity, and a commitment to inclusive practice are highly valued. The role includes delivering accredited qualifications at Entry Level 3 and Level 1, including Functional Skills in Maths and English.
We are looking for someone who is collaborative, reflective and motivated to make a positive difference, with the ability to create engaging learning experiences that meet the diverse needs of our students.
This is a permanent post, working part time (25.9 hours per week, additional hours may be available).
