Description
As Management Accountant you will be reporting into the Financial Controller and will be responsible for delivering accurate financial reporting, ensuring there are strong internal controls, maintaining robust balance sheet reconciliations, and providing financial oversight of business activities. This would be a great role for an individual who enjoys controls and reconciliation work, and identifying opportunities and risks. Your duties will include, but will not be limited to:
- Post and prepare monthly trial balances and all necessary supporting files
- Post and review accruals, prepayments, journals, and other month-end adjustments.
- Prepare and review monthly balance sheet reconciliations
- Investigate and resolve reconciling items
- Reconciling and processing payments for annual international rebates to other entities within the Group.
- Lead the month-end inter-company processes for UK entities and manage ongoing relationships and balance agreements with EU counterparts.
- Control and reconcile multiple bank accounts and provide essential support to the AP Team for statement reconciliations.
- Maintain SOX controls for supplier statements.
Profile
To apply for this position, you do not need experience of all of the above duties, as training will be provided, but you must:
- Have a proven track record of working in finance
- Have experience of producing monthly management accounts
- Have good excel skills
Our client is keen to consider individuals who are qualified by experience or individuals who are studying an accounting qualification, such as ACCA, CIMA or ACCA.
