This is a hands-on, end-to-end credit control role, ideal for someone confident chasing debt, resolving queries and building strong working relationships with customers and internal teams.

- Proactively managing customer accounts to ensure timely payment
- Chasing overdue debt by telephone and email
- Investigating and resolving invoice and payment disputes
- Monitoring and managing customer credit limits
- Carrying out credit checks on new and existing accounts
- Placing accounts on stop / suspension in line with procedures
- Liaising with external solicitors or debt recovery agencies when required
- Maintaining accurate records of all credit control activity
- Supporting month end reporting and providing analysis where needed
What we’re looking for
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in a Credit Control role
- Strong knowledge of end-to-end credit control processes
- Confident communicator with a professional but firm approach
- Highly organised, detail-focused and resilient
- Comfortable managing a changing workload and collection targets
- Strong Excel and general IT skills
