The Role
The successful candidate will take responsibility for a Year 2 class, delivering creative and engaging lessons that support pupils academically, socially, and emotionally. You will play a key role in preparing pupils for the transition through Key Stage 1 while creating a positive and inclusive classroom environment where all children can thrive.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging and differentiated lessons in line with the Key Stage 1 curriculum.
- Create a stimulating classroom environment that promotes high levels of achievement and positive behaviour.
- Assess, monitor, and track pupil progress to ensure excellent outcomes for all learners.
- Build strong relationships with pupils, parents, and colleagues to support children’s development.
- Contribute to the wider life of the school through school events, enrichment activities, and collaborative initiatives.
- Maintain high expectations for learning, behaviour, and pupil achievement.
