Business Development ExecutiveSouth UK (Primarily Central London) Field-based, 90% travelUp to £35 000 + company car + benefits + bonusWe are working on behalf of a global consumer goods business who are looking for a business development executive. This role offers the opportunity for a commercially astute and motivated individual to strengthen retailer relationships, support product launches and build consumer loyalty. You will be part of a global FMCG business operating within the regulated premium recreational products sector.The RoleWorking with senior stakeholders, you’ll spearhead the rollout of a brand-new product range in the South UK (primarily Central London), targeting specialised headshops and convenience stores. Acting as a field-based powerhouse, you’ll collaborate with stakeholders, monitor KPIs, and ignite brand awareness through creative initiatives, retailer education, and hotspot opportunities—all while keeping things simple, solid, and fun.Key responsibilities include:Execute on agreed product plans across designated channelsDevelop and implement creative initiatives to strengthen product and brand awarenessBuild strong relationships and long-term loyalty within independent convenience stores and headshopsGather and report market intelligence, consumer insights, and competitor activity to inform strategyMonitor KPIs, track performance, and provide clear, actionable insightsEducate and support retailers and maximise in-store opportunitiesOversee stock levels, train promoters, and conduct regular store visits with POS trackingDoes this describe you?Experienced sales rep or business development in a FMCG environment (a must)Clean UK driving license; comfortable with frequent travel and non-standard hoursStrong sales and negotiation, relationship-building, and communication skillsAnalytical mindset for KPIs and market insightResults-oriented, entrepreneurial, hands-on, resilient self-starter with a sense of humourFlexible, cross-culturally competent, market-facing, and able to thrive independently or in teamsIf you are keen to grow your sales and relationship building skills and work with a great team, this role offers a great platform for growth in a dynamic environment.
