Salary: £30,000 – £35,000
Job Type: Full-time, Permanent
From £30,000 per year (negotiable based on experience)
45 hours per week, Monday – Friday; 8:00am – 5:00pm – NO WEEKENDS!
We’re a busy, well-established garage based in the heart of Southsea and we’re looking for a skilled MOT Tester / Mechanical Technician to join our friendly and reliable team. The Role:
* Carrying out MOT tests to DVSA standards* Servicing, maintenance, and mechanical repairs on a range of vehicles* Diagnosing faults efficiently and accurately* Ensuring all work is completed safely and to a high standard* Maintaining a clean and organised workshop
Requirements:
* Valid MOT Tester licence required if applying for MOT role.* Proven experience as a mechanical technician* Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills* Reliable, punctual, and able to work well as part of a team* Full UK driving licence
