Position: Activities Co-ordinator (Bank)
Role Overview :
Do you have a passion for bringing joy, stimulation, and companionship to older people? We’re looking for a creative, compassionate, and energetic Bank Activities Co-ordinator to join our dedicated team at Plane Tree Court.
Key Responsibilities:
* Plan, schedule and lead a wide variety of activities (arts & crafts, games, music, gentle exercise, outings, reminiscence sessions, etc.)
* Encourage resident participation and adapt activities for individual needs
* Work collaboratively with residents, families, care staff, and external providers to enrich the resident experience.
* Ensure all activities are delivered safely, in line with safeguarding, infection control, and health & safety guidelines.
* Maintain accurate records of all activities and ensure updates are reflected in residents’ care plans.
* Foster a warm and inclusive atmosphere.
Requirements:
* A genuine passion for working with older people and enhancing their wellbeing.
* Kind, patient, and a natural motivator.
* Creativity and enthusiasm for developing varied and inclusive activity programmes.
* Excellent communication, organisational, and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to work flexibly and independently, with strong time management.
* A full UK driving licence is a plus (for occasional trips out)
