The requirement of a Financial Controller’s position follows private equity investment from KKR in 2025, with the second tranche of investment for acquisition H2 2026The successful Financial Controller is flagship hire, as they will be tasked with targeting, acquiring and integration of growth area’s with this war-chest.

The Financial Controller will be integral in the stewardship of the organisation as they look at where their UK and Pan European expansion will take a foothold, while also delivering the growth of the internal finance team. Your org structure has a standing authority for 3 new hires to add into your team – this is a statement of growth already authorised and awaiting your recruitment.

The Role

There is a high level of strategic engagement and growth which will be the cornerstone of your role, while there is also a high element of taking the current team through the processes that will be required to bring in their future plans:

Currently the business runs a framework of the points, however following new investment, you will be driving the teams delivery on:Commercial Management Reporting PackStatutory ReportingBudgeting and Forecasting – creating uniformity across divisions and Business Partnering senior managersKPI creation for Sales & OperationsManagement Accounts – taking variances and action point to stakeholdersProject ManagementAd-hoc ReportingThe role is of project nature and presents the opportunity to apply commercial acumen, intellect, intuition and observational & listening skills to:

o Evaluate new operational and commercial initiativeso Provide analysis around capital expenditure investment decisionso Monitor financial performance in new business areaso Improve financial processes and controls.

You will be responsible for the creation and delivery of a reporting suite which will be to a senior stakeholder group, who are not all from a finance background. Therefore, your communicative skills will be utilised here.
