Industrial Maintenance Head Job at Preston Full Time NEW

Alchem Partners have been retained to source an experienced Maintenance Manager to lead a multi-disciplined team on site in Preston, the site is a COMAH regulated site specialising in a number of chemical products.The role will focus on existing processes and improvements, leading and mentoring multi-disciplined teams, increasing preventative maintenance activity and projects to support these.This is an excellent opportunity for someone in a supervisor or team lead position who is looking to make the next step in their career.The successful candidate will; Lead the teams ensuring development, mentoring and coaching for the teamEnsure that all maintenance and servicing aspects relating to site are efficiently undertaken to support operationsEnsure all works carried out adhere to our safe working systemsManage Service Contracts and contractors attending siteDeveloping and implementing the Planned Preventive Maintenance SystemsConduct investigations based on downtime to determine root cause analysis and then implement corrective and preventative actions using appropriate stakeholdersForecast and manage the maintenance budget.Assist in ongoing project work and development of CAPEX projectsRequired experience:Proven experience within a similar supervisory position within a manufacturing environment – ideally within chemical/COMAH environments.Degree in Mechanical or other engineering discipline or equivalent certification or experience.Engineer fitter education/experience (desirable/advantage).Proficient in basic IT programs (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, email and Internet).Understanding of HMI and PLC Controllers.Writing Planned Preventive Maintenance.Further information available on request!
