Role Overview You will be responsible for carrying out reactive service, repair, and installation work across domestic properties.
The role requires strong diagnostic ability, a high standard of workmanship, and a customer-focused approach.
You will be expected to respond to call-outs efficiently, identify faults accurately, and complete repairs or installations in line with Gas Safe regulations.
Key Responsibilities Attend reactive service and repair jobs in a timely manner Diagnose faults on boilers, heating systems, and gas appliances Carry out repairs and ensure systems are operating safely and efficiently Install gas appliances and heating systems where required Complete servicing and safety checks in line with regulations Ensure full compliance with current Gas Safe standards Complete all job reports, certification, and paperwork accurately Deliver excellent customer service on every job Maintain company vehicle, stock, and equipment Participate in an out-of-hours rota if required Requirements Valid Gas Safe Registration ACS qualifications (CCN1 plus relevant elements such as CENWAT, CKR1, HTR1, CPA1) Proven experience in reactive gas servicing, repairs, and installations Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills Full UK driving licence Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively Professional and customer-focused approach Desirable Experience Social housing, domestic maintenance, or facilities management background G3 Unvented Hot Water qualification Experience with modern heating systems and smart controls Benefits Competitive salary
