The Role

As an IT Support Specialist, you will be responsible for providing technical support across hardware, software, and network systems while ensuring smooth day-to-day IT operations. You will work closely with employees and management to resolve technical issues efficiently and maintain high levels of system performance and user satisfaction.

The ideal candidate is proactive, customer-focused, and capable of handling multiple technical tasks with professionalism and accuracy.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide first-line and second-line IT support to internal users
• Troubleshoot hardware, software, and network-related issues
• Install, configure, and maintain desktops, laptops, printers, and applications
• Support Microsoft 365, cloud platforms, and collaboration tools
• Respond to and resolve support tickets in a timely manner
• Monitor system performance and assist with IT maintenance activities
• Maintain IT asset records, documentation, and user accounts
• Assist with onboarding and technical setup for new employees
• Coordinate with external vendors and service providers when required
• Support IT projects, upgrades, and cybersecurity best practices

Requirements

• Previous experience in IT support, helpdesk, or technical support roles
• Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills
• Knowledge of Windows operating systems, networking basics, and Microsoft 365
• Excellent communication and customer service abilities
• Ability to prioritise tasks and work effectively under pressure
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
• Familiarity with cloud technologies and remote support tools is advantageous
• Relevant IT certifications or technical qualifications are beneficial
