Role Description
We are seeking a dedicated English Teacher for a full-time hybrid position based in Rochester, with the flexibility to work remotely as needed. The English Teacher will deliver engaging lessons to students preparing for GCSE, A-Level, and 11 Plus examinations. Key responsibilities include lesson planning, teaching both online and in-person sessions, providing feedback on student performance, and tailoring instruction to meet the specific needs of individual learners. The role also entails fostering student confidence and encouraging proactive learning habits.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in English Teaching, with expertise in engaging a diverse range of students
- Strong skills in Lesson Planning to create customised and effective learning experiences
- Experience in Education and Teaching, with a solid understanding of curriculum standards and assessment strategies
- Excellent Communication skills to interact effectively with students, parents, and colleagues
- Patience, adaptability, and a passion for empowering students to achieve academic success
- Degree in English, Education, or a related field; a teaching qualification is preferred
- Experience with hybrid teaching and learning platforms is advantageous
