The Best Connection are delighted to be recruiting for warehouse operatives for one of our clients based in Bedford.
The role is busy and fast paced and will involve mainly picking and packing items, some are large so some heavy lifting and manual handling is required throughout the entire shift. Previous warehouse experience, including use of WMS systems is an advantage, candidates must have experience of operating LLOPs – in-house training and experience is acceptable as training will be provided.
Shift patterns are as follows: Monday – Friday 07:00-16:00hrs
Job Responsibilities:
- Picking, packing and loading of goods, ready for dispatch
- Ensuring the smooth dispatch & accurate and timely loading of vehicles
- Report any issues
- Follow quality service standards & comply with company procedures & policies
- Work collaboratively with the warehouse team, following health and safety protocol at all times
Job Requirements:
- Proven working experience as a warehouse operative
- Proficiency in warehouse management systems
- Familiarity with modern warehousing practices & methods
- Good organisational & time management skills
- Manual Handling/Ability to lift heavy objects up to 25kg
- Strong communication skills for both internal and external stakeholders
- IT literate
- Attention to detail
