This role plays a key part in improving residents homes, with a strong focus on addressing damp and mould and managing legal disrepair works to ensure safe, healthy living environments.You will oversee contractor performance on site, carrying out inspections, monitoring quality and progress, and ensuring works are delivered on time, within budget and to the required standards. Working collaboratively with our construction partners and internal teams, you will help resolve issues quickly, including customer concerns, access challenges and tenant welfare matters.The role requires a strong commitment to compliance, ensuring all works meet relevant legislation, health and safety requirements and Council standards. You will maintain accurate project records, contribute to effective contract management, and support continuous service improvement.We welcome applications from candidates who value inclusion, communicate effectively with diverse communities, and are motivated to make a positive difference to residents homes and experiences.What were looking for:The ideal candidate will have:1. Experience of undertaking property surveys, identifying defects, reporting writing and recommending appropriate remedial action2. Thorough knowledge of methods of building construction and building maintenance principals3. Proficiency in the use of computers for: – Microsoft Office (word, excel, PowerPoint, Outlook etc.)4. Monitor and oversee contractors and subcontractors throughout all stages of site preparation, execution and monitoring, completion and handover5. Ability to undertake onsite inspections and surveying measurements to ensure that all works are carried out to the required standard and scope6. Driving Licence with access to a vehicleClosing Date
