This is a remote position.
We are expanding and looking for passionate, experienced English Tutors to support students across the UK.
Subjects include:
• KS3 English
• 11+ 12+ 13+ English Preparation
• GCSE English Language & Literature
• Creative Writing
• Verbal Reasoning
Key Areas for 11+, KS3 & GCSE:
• Reading comprehension, creative writing & analytical skills
• Essay and extended writing techniques
• Grammar, punctuation & vocabulary development
• Shakespeare, poetry & modern texts
• Creative and transactional writing
• Exam techniques, revision strategies & coursework support
Entrance Exam Board Experience:
- CSSE , FSCE , GL Assessment
- Independent school entrance exams
- AQA, OCR, Edexcel
Requirements
Key Requirements:
✔ Strong knowledge of the UK curriculum for 11+, KS3 & GCSE English
✔ Previous tutoring or teaching experience
✔ Excellent communication skills
✔ Ability to deliver engaging, student-focused online lessons
✔ Professional online teaching setup with reliable internet
✔ Commitment to safeguarding and child protection
Successful applicants will be required to complete safer recruitment checks, including an Enhanced DBS check and references.
Desirable:
• Experience preparing students for grammar and independent school entrance exams
• UK school or tutoring background
• Safeguarding training
• Strong creative writing teaching skills

Requirements
Strong command of English Language, Literature, and Creative Writing / Essay Writing Proven experience teaching GCSE and other UK curriculum standards. Excellent communication skills. Strong classroom and behaviour management. Ability to lead and mentor junior tutors. Creative, organized, and committed to academic excellence.
