We are recruiting a Senior Substance Use Mental Health (SUMH) Nurse (RMN) to join our Wakefield Integrated Substance Use Service (Inspiring Recovery, Inspiring Futures, and Inspiring Families).

Provide mental health expertise within a multi-disciplinary substance use team Build strong links with community mental health teams and external partners Support complex case management, including advocacy and escalation where needed Attend and contribute to multi-agency meetings for clients with complex needs Work closely with clinical leads, including the Principal Clinical Psychologist Help shape and improve service delivery to ensure high-quality care
The Ideal Candidate We’re looking for a passionate and skilled nurse who:
Is a qualified RMN registered with the NMC Has experience in mental health services (substance use experience desirable) Is confident working with individuals with complex needs Has strong communication and partnership-working skills Demonstrates empathy, resilience, and a person-centred approach You’ll also benefit from:

Essential Criteria : A minimum of two years’ experience working within a mental health setting is required for this role, reflecting the senior level of the position.
