We’re working with a highly regarded independent planning consultancy that is looking to appoint a talented Town Planner to join its growing team. The successful candidate will work across a broad range of planning projects, supporting clients through the planning process from initial appraisal through to submission and determination. The role offers the opportunity to work on residential, commercial, mixed-use, and strategic development schemes across the UK.

Key Responsibilities:

• Preparing and managing planning applications and appeals
• Undertaking site appraisals and planning research
• Liaising with local authorities, consultants, and stakeholders
• Preparing planning statements and supporting documentation
• Advising clients on planning strategy and development potential
• Attending client meetings, consultations, and site visits

Requirements:

• Degree qualified in Town Planning or related discipline
• MRTPI qualified or working towards chartership
• Previous experience within a planning consultancy or local authority environment
• Strong report writing and communication skills
• Commercial awareness and a proactive approach to problem solving
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively
