Accounts Assistant Job at Aberdeenshire Full Time

Location: Bridge of Don | Salary: £15-£16 per hour | Type: Temporary Part-Time (8 Hours)

I’m recruiting for an immediately available Accounts Assistant to join a well-respected technology business based in Bridge of Don. The role is part-time 8 hours per week which would consist of 2 half day shifts.

This role is perfect for someone with strong purchase and sales ledger experience with a strong understanding of Sage50 accounting software. The successful candidate will work closely with the organisations Finance Manager during a peak period.

Key Responsibilities

• Raise and process customer invoices (Sage 50)
• Handle invoice queries and issue credit notes
• Process and match supplier invoices
• Reconcile supplier statements and resolve discrepancies
• Maintain accurate financial records
• Liaise with customers, suppliers, and internal teams
• Support general finance administration

About You

• Proficient in Sage 50 (essential)
• Experience in sales and purchase ledger
• Strong invoicing and reconciliation skills
• High attention to detail
• Good Excel and MS Office skills
• Organised, reliable, and a team player
