SRG is working with a pharmaceutical company in Loughborough. We are looking for an Analytical Chemist to join the team on a 6 month rolling contract. A fantastic opportunity to strengthen your skills within a pharmaceutical company working with experienced team members in a GMP environment.

Job Title: Analytical Chemist

Vacancy type: Temporary Contract (6 Months Rolling)

Area: Loughborough

Salary: £15.31/hour (37.5 hours a week)

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Conduct and document analytical testing (HPLC) of pMDIs, following cGMP requirements, delivering to plan on time in full.
• Ensure quality of data delivered is fit for purpose, whilst working in a fast, flexible environment, with a strong focus on right first time.
• Represent the department in a professional manner as and when required, when interacting with both internal and external customers and regulators.
• Establish continuous improvement as part of normal everyday work.

Skills Required:

• Bachelor’s degree in a Chemistry, Pharmaceutical, or analytical related degree.
• Strong understanding of HPLC, GC, MS, UPLC and UV, working to GMP standards
• Highly desirable: Experience testing pMDIs or inhaled products
• Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
