Healthcare Architect Sheffield
£35,000 – £45,000 depending on experience
We are seeking an experienced Healthcare Architect to join a dynamic, design-led team in Sheffield.
This is a fantastic opportunity to take a leading role in the planning and delivery of complex healthcare projects, shaping innovative, patient-centred environments that support the future of healthcare delivery.
Projects will include new build, refurbishment, and modular healthcare schemes, with the opportunity to also contribute across other sectors within a varied and engaging project portfolio.
The Role
You will lead projects from concept through to completion, working closely with multidisciplinary teams and clinical stakeholders to deliver high-quality, compliant and efficient healthcare environments.
Key Responsibilities
• Lead healthcare projects across all RIBA stages (feasibility to delivery)
• Collaborate with healthcare planners, engineers, and clinical stakeholders
• Produce and coordinate detailed design documentation in line with HTM/HBN standards
• Manage project teams including architects, assistants, and technicians
• Liaise with clients, consultants, and contractors throughout delivery
• Conduct site visits and ensure design intent is maintained on site
• Contribute to bids, presentations, and business development activities
• Stay up to date with healthcare design innovation and best practice
What We re Looking For
• ARB/RIBA registered Architect (or equivalent)
• Strong portfolio of healthcare project experience
• Proficiency in Revit/BIM essential
• Strong understanding of healthcare design standards (HTM/HBN)
• Experience using ADB software desirable
• Confident leading multidisciplinary teams on large-scale projects
• Strong communication and client-facing skills
• Proactive, detail-driven and collaborative approach
