Grõ Careers is supporting a fast-growing, design-led London studio looking for a Project Architect to take a leading role on significant residential and mixed-use projects moving into technical delivery.

The immediate focus is a high-profile affordable housing scheme within one of London’s most recognisable regeneration masterplans. Over 200 homes. Community uses. A major consultant team. A technically important next stage approaching.

This is not a background support role.

You will be owning the project, making the decisions, and trusted to move the scheme forward.

What you’ll do

You will take responsibility across technical design, consultant coordination, Revit delivery and project momentum.

You’ll be responsible for:

• leading a design-led mixed-use project from Stage 4 onwards;
• coordinating consultant information;
• preparing for Gateway 2 / HRB-related submissions;
• managing drawing packages, deliverables and programme pressures;
• leading a small team of industry-leading talent;
• making sensible design and technical decisions;
• protecting design quality while moving information forward.

The studio is young, agile and non-corporate, but the project scale is becoming increasingly serious.

You will not be hidden inside a large team.

You will have access to the directors and senior support, visibility across the project, and the chance to take real ownership at a point in your career where that can make a significant difference.

The ideal candidate…

• You are a UK-based architect who understands delivery.
• You are confident in Revit (having delivered at least two Revit projects across RIBA Stages 4-5).
• You have experience delivering UK multi-unit mixed-use residential schemes from Stage 4 onwards.
• You can coordinate consultants without drama.
• You understand the importance of Gateway 2 / HRB work, even if you have not led the full process alone.
• You want responsibility, but still care about design.

This could suit a Project Architect ready to step into a more visible role in a medium-sized practice, or an Architect already operating with real project ownership.
