Reed Finance are recruiting on behalf of a well established manufacturing business seeking a motivated Assistant Accountant / Junior Finance Analyst to join their growing finance team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone early in their finance career looking to gain broad exposure in a fast paced, commercially focused environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with month-end close, including journals, accruals and prepayments
- Support production of management accounts and variance analysis
- Analyse costs, margins and manufacturing performance metrics
- Maintain and reconcile balance sheet accounts
- Work closely with operations to support cost control and budgeting
- Assist with stock accounting and inventory reporting
- Support audits and continuous improvement of financial processes
About You:
- Part-qualified (AAT / ACCA / CIMA) / actively studying or QBE
- Previous experience in a finance or accounts role (ideally within manufacturing or production)
- Strong Excel skills and an analytical mindset
- Highly organised with strong attention to detail
- Eager to learn and develop within a supportive finance team
