Description

• Assist in preparing and maintaining accurate financial records.
• Support the month-end and year-end close processes.
• Reconcile bank statements and resolve discrepancies.
• Process invoices and manage accounts payable and receivable.
• Assist in preparing financial reports for internal and external stakeholders.
• Maintain up-to-date and organised financial documentation.
• Collaborate with the Accounting & Finance team to ensure compliance with financial regulations.
• Provide support for ad hoc accounting tasks as required.

Profile

A successful Assistant Accountant should have:

• A strong foundation in accounting principles and practices.
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
• Exceptional attention to detail and organisational skills.
• The ability to work effectively in a small team environment.
• Previous experience in an accounting or finance role, preferably in the business services industry.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
