We are currently recruiting for an Assistant Accountant to join a fast paced and highly reputable business based on the outskirts of Ipswich.
This is an excellent opportunity if you are looking to further develop your accounting career within a growing organisation.
Key Responsibilities
- Process purchase and sales invoices accurately and efficiently.
- Perform bank reconciliations and maintain cash book records.
- Prepare and post accounting journals.
- Assist in the preparation of monthly management accounts.
- Reconcile balance sheet accounts and investigate variances.
- Liaise with suppliers, customers, and internal stakeholders to resolve finance-related queries.
Requirements
- Studying towards or qualified in AAT Level 4.
- Previous relevant work experience.
- Strong Microsoft Excel skills and experience using accounting software.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
