An ambitious and forward-thinking secondary school in Enfield is seeking to appoint an exceptional Assistant Principal to join its senior leadership team from September 2026 on a permanent basis.
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced middle or senior leader looking to make a significant impact within a dynamic and inclusive school community. The successful candidate will play a key role in driving high standards of teaching, learning, behaviour, and student achievement across the school.
The Role:
Support the strategic leadership and day-to-day management of the school
Lead on key whole-school priorities such as behaviour, teaching and learning, pastoral care, attendance, or curriculum development
Drive high standards of academic achievement and student outcomes
Support and develop teaching staff through coaching and professional development
Promote a positive, inclusive, and aspirational school culture
Work collaboratively with SLT, staff, students, parents, and external stakeholders
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
UK QTS and substantial secondary teaching experience
Proven leadership experience within a secondary school setting
A strong track record of improving outcomes and raising standards
Excellent communication, organisational, and interpersonal skills
The ability to inspire staff and students alike
A commitment to inclusion, safeguarding, and student wellbeing
