Associate Director – M&A and Finance Integration Job at Guildford a minute Full Time NEW

Our client is a large, fast‑growing UK organisation looking for a Senior Finance Integration Lead to take charge of integrating newly acquired businesses into the Group. This is a high‑impact role working closely with senior finance leadership, where you’ll shape how acquisitions are absorbed, optimised and scaled in a private‑equity‑backed environment.

The Role

You’ll lead the full integration lifecycle — from due diligence through to steady‑state operations — ensuring each acquisition delivers its financial, operational and strategic objectives. This includes designing Day 1, 30 and 100‑day plans, coordinating activity across finance workstreams and acting as the central point of accountability for timelines, risks and delivery.

You’ll embed strong financial controls from the outset, standardise reporting and KPIs, and ensure acquired businesses are quickly incorporated into Group consolidation and performance reporting. You’ll also oversee systems and data integration, ensuring accuracy, consistency and scalability across the Group.

A key part of the role is stakeholder influence: partnering with senior leaders, building trust with acquired management teams and providing clear, concise updates on progress, risks and deal performance. You’ll also mentor junior team members, allocate resources across deals and continuously refine the Group’s integration playbook to drive faster, smoother and more consistent delivery.

About You

• Qualified accountant (ACA / ACCA / CIMA) with strong post‑qualification experience
• Proven background in acquisition integration, finance transformation or complex systems change
• Confident communicator able to influence senior stakeholders and lead cross‑functional teams
• Strong planning, prioritisation and analytical skills
• Excellent Excel and IT capability; D365 experience is advantageous
• Experience in multi‑site or property‑related environments is helpful
