Technical Business Analyst – Cards & Payment Networks
Location: Burgess Hill, UK (Hybrid: 3 days in-office per week)
Type: Permanent / Full-Time (FTE) / Subcontractor
We are looking for an experienced Technical Business Analyst to join our team! In this role, you will dive deep into authorization, clearing, and settlement platforms, working directly with major payment networks. If you bridge the gap between complex business logic and technical execution effortlessly, we want you on board!
️ The Track Record: 7+ years of experience as a Technical Business Analyst specifically within the Payments domain.
Network Know-How: Practical experience with Visa Base I/II/III, Mastercard CIS, or Amex systems.
Data Formats: Mastery of end-to-end authorization, clearing, settlement, and reconciliation flows.
Security & Compliance: Gather complex business requirements and translate them into crystal-clear technical specifications, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
Data Mapping: ️ Map data elements seamlessly across internal platforms and external payment networks.
Scheme Compliance: Drive scheme compliance and spearhead network certification testing (e.g., Quality Assurance: Troubleshooting: Dive into data using SQL and log analysis to investigate and resolve complex transaction issues.
Collaboration: Work closely with Engineering, QA, and Network teams within an Agile/Scrum framework.
Data & Analytics: SQL
