Finance Administrator

Glasgow (fully office based)

Iconic Resourcing are delighted to be partnering with a growing Glasgow based business as they look to recruit an experienced Bookkeeper/Finance Administrator. This is a varied and hands on role that will support the day to day running of the business across finance, administration and operational support. The successful candidate will play a key role in keeping processes running smoothly while supporting multiple areas of the business.

Responsibilities

• Issuing sales invoices and processing purchase invoices
• Posting bank transactions, cash and cheques
• Managing company diary coordination, appointments and timekeeping
• Reconciling bank accounts and customer control accounts
• Managing petty cash and supplier statements
• Supporting credit control, supplier payments and credit card logs
• Collating salary data and supporting finance administration
• Completing account reconciliations across multiple systems and platforms
• Supporting month end close for stock, sales and purchases
• Managing insurance administration and internal tracking systems
• Reviewing credit limits and supporting customer account setup
• Handling finance queries and supplier contracts including utilities and insurance
• Maintaining annual leave records and supporting HR administration
• Coordinating stock takes, incoming mail and ad hoc office administration tasks

Requirements

• Previous experience within a bookkeeping or finance administration role
• Strong attention to detail, particularly with reconciliations and financial processes
• Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
• Comfortable working across different systems and processes
• Proactive approach with strong problem solving skills
• Confident communicator with a hands on attitude
• Strong Microsoft Office skills and general IT confidence
