Bookkeeper

Join an independent firm of Chartered Accountants based in Kent, known for their close client relationships and comprehensive accountancy and specialist tax services. They are currently seeking a Bookkeeper to enhance their team, offering a personal service backed by the quality and assurances expected of a modern Chartered Accountancy practice.
Day-to-day of the role:
- Prepare annual accounts for sole traders, partnerships, and limited companies using IRIS Accounts Production.
- Prepare VAT returns and assist in managing client accounts.
- Support managers and directors with various client-related tasks.
- Conduct regular bookkeeping, utilising both cloud and desktop-based software.
- Liaise with clients to resolve queries and ensure excellent service delivery.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- AAT qualified, part AAT qualified or qualified by experience.
- Proven experience working in a general practice role within accountancy.
- Strong familiarity with IRIS software is highly desirable.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to handle multiple client accounts.
- Detail-oriented with a commitment to high standards of service delivery.
