Care Assistant – Newport, Cowes and Freshwater – ISLE OF WIGHT

Location: Across the West of the island – Newport, Cowes, and/or Freshwater areas, Isle of Wight
Salary: £13.43 per hour for weekday care calls / £13.93 per hour for weekend care calls. Additional benefits include enhanced pay for work carried out on public holidays.

About the Role
As a Care Assistant, you will provide person-centred care to older adults across the West side of the Isle of Wight, helping them regain independence in their own homes.
Your duties include:
- Personal care
- Meal preparation and basic cooking
- Light household tasks
- Food shopping
- Companionship and emotional support
No experience needed – full training provided!
What We Are Looking For
- Travel Requirements: This is a community-based role, so a full UK driving licence, your own car, and business insurance is preferred but not essential.
- Right to Work: You must have the right to work in the UK. We are unable to offer sponsorship currently.
- Ability to work AM/PM shifts and alternate weekends
- Good English communication skills
