About the Role
We are looking for a compassionate, reliable, and experienced Care Worker / Support Worker to join our growing team. You will be supporting adults and/or young people with autism, learning disabilities, and mental health needs, helping them achieve their goals and maintain independence.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide person-centred care and tailored support
- Support individuals with autism, learning disabilities, and mental health conditions
- Assist with personal care where required
- Promote independence and daily living skills
- Support with medication (following training and company procedures)
- Assist with community access, appointments, and social activities
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date care records
- Work collaboratively with families and healthcare professionals
Requirements
- Previous experience supporting individuals with autism, learning disabilities, and/or mental health
- Full UK driving licence
- Access to your own vehicle (essential)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Compassionate, patient, and reliable
- Right to work in the UK
- NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Health & Social Care (or working towards it)
- Experience in supported living or domiciliary care
- Understanding of positive behaviour support
