Carpet Fitter (Catterick) Job at North Yorkshire DL SN Full Time NEW

Duties:

Removing old carpeting and flooring.
Rolling out, measuring, and cutting carpets/vinyl flooring to size.
Gluing or stapling carpets/underlay.
Finishing edges with wall trimmers when required
Correcting imperfections.
Loading/unloading vehicles
Liaising with customers

Job Requirements:

Previous work experience as a carpet/floor installer one year required
Good analytical and mathematical skills.
Ability to read and interpret drawings.
Basic computer skills.
Flexible approach and willingness to work as a team player
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work with hand and power tools.
Ability to work standing, kneeling, and crouching for extended periods.
Detail-oriented.
Ability to work on your own and use own initiative
Full UK driving license an advantage
Good time management
