About the Role:
We are seeking an exceptional class teacher to join our dedicated team and vibrant school community. This Key Stage 2 position is open to teachers at all career stages. Breaside offers a supportive, stimulating environment with excellent professional development opportunities. The successful candidate will support the school’s policies, aims, and ethos while promoting the holistic social, emotional, and physical development of every child. Responsibilities include planning, preparing, and delivering high-quality lessons, as well as participating in public examination arrangements, supervision, and assessments. You will assess, record, and report on pupil development, progress, and attainment, providing both oral and written feedback, reports, and references for individuals and groups. The role also involves communicating and consulting with parents, promoting the progress and wellbeing of assigned pupils, and providing educational and social guidance. In addition, there may be an opportunity to coordinate an agreed curriculum area across the school.
This is permanent, full-time with a September 2026 start date.

Who We Are Looking For:
The successful candidate will be an outstanding classroom practitioner with the ability to engage in a warm and supportive way with the children. A strong knowledge of the Key Stage 2 curriculum and beyond is essential. You will be an effective communicator who can use their initiative to provide a variety of inspiring learning opportunities across a broad range of curriculum subjects. The ability to foster effective relationships with all members of our Breaside community is a must.
