Client Accountant Job at Birmingham, West Midlands (County) Full Time

Mitchell Adam are delighted to be partnering with a well-established and expanding property management in Birmingham to recruit a Client Accountant. This opportunity is ideal for a finance professional seeking a varied, client-focused position within a supportive and forward-thinking business.

Joining an experienced finance team, you will be responsible for overseeing the financial operations of a diverse property portfolio. The role will involve producing accurate financial reports, completing reconciliations, managing budgets and ensuring all accounting activities are delivered within agreed deadlines and compliance standards. Alongside the technical accounting responsibilities, you will build strong relationships with both clients and internal teams, acting as a key contact across a range of commercial properties.

Skills needed:

• Previous experience in client accounting or property finance.
• Strong understanding of service charge accounting, reconciliations, budgeting and monthly financial reporting.
• Confident communication skills with the ability to maintain professional client relationships.
• Good working knowledge of Excel and finance systems; exposure to property management software would be beneficial.
