Area Manager – Cleaning Services📍 Location: Bromley / Orpington (Greater London)💼 Competitive Salary (dependent on experience)🕒 Full-Time | PermanentAbout the RoleCleanTEC is seeking an experienced and motivated Cleaning Area Manager to oversee multiple contracts across Bromley and Orpington.This is a trusted and hands-on management role responsible for ensuring all contracts are delivered to the highest standards, in line with client expectations and agreed scopes of work. The successful candidate will be a strong communicator with the ability to lead, support, and develop both Site Supervisors and cleaning teams.Working closely with the Regional Manager, you will focus on service excellence, compliance, team performance, and continuous improvement across all sites.Key ResponsibilitiesManage operational performance across multiple cleaning contractsEnsure services are delivered to agreed quality standards and budgetsConduct regular site audits and quality inspections with clients and Site SupervisorsOversee staffing levels, recruitment, training, and employee developmentManage timekeeping, schedules, and payroll/timecardsBuild and maintain strong client relationshipsEnsure compliance with health & safety and company proceduresSupport and cover Site Supervisors when requiredDrive continuous improvement and maintain high service standardsSkills & ExperiencePrevious management experience within the cleaning or facilities sector is preferredStrong leadership and people management skillsExcellent communication and organisational abilitiesGood understanding of cleaning methods, equipment, chemicals, and safety proceduresCompetent IT skills, including Microsoft Office and spreadsheetsAbility to complete reports, audits, and documentation accuratelyScheduleMonday to FridayWeekend availability when requiredRequirementsFull UK Driving LicenceMinimum 2 years’ management experience preferredIf you are a proactive leader who takes pride in delivering excellent service and supporting high-performing teams, we would love to hear from you.Please include your CV/Resume in your application.
