As a result, an established engineering consultancy is looking to strengthen its team with a Civil Design Engineer to support a growing portfolio of wastewater infrastructure projects across the North West.

🔨 The Role

You’ll play a key role in the design and delivery of wastewater infrastructure projects, working closely with multidisciplinary teams to develop practical engineering solutions for a range of schemes across the regulated water sector.

Projects currently include upgrades to wastewater treatment works, pumped storm storage schemes, CSO improvements and new-build pumping station developments.

This is a role that offers variety, technical challenge and exposure to projects that are central to the future of the UK’s water infrastructure.

• Wastewater Treatment Works upgrades
• Pumped Storm Storage schemes
• Combined Sewer Overflow (CSO) improvement projects
• New-build Pumping Stations
• Environmental improvement and compliance programmes
• Wider wastewater network infrastructure projects

👷 About You

• Civil Engineering design experience within infrastructure or utilities projects
• Experience working on projects within the UK regulated water industry
• Strong technical design and problem-solving capability
• Ability to work collaboratively within multidisciplinary project teams
• Comfortable managing workload and delivering to programme deadlines
• Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills

• Hybrid office base from Manchester
• Occasional site visits across project locations
