Corporate Tax Assistant Manager – Creative Sector – London – Hybrid

A leading professional services firm is seeking a Corporate Tax Assistant Manager to join its specialist Creative Sector Tax team in London. The team advises a broad portfolio of clients across the film, television, gaming and wider media industries, including international production companies, independent studios and businesses supporting the creative production process.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a growing and highly regarded team, working with high-profile clients on a range of corporate tax compliance, reporting and advisory projects linked to creative sector tax incentives.

The Role

Due to continued growth, the firm is looking to appoint an Assistant Manager to support the delivery of tax services across a varied client portfolio. The successful candidate will work closely with senior team members on complex engagements while also taking responsibility for managing their own projects and supporting junior staff development.

The position offers strong progression opportunities within a collaborative and supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Managing corporate tax compliance and reporting engagements for a portfolio of clients
• Assisting with the preparation and delivery of creative sector tax relief claims
• Supporting tax advisory projects and undertaking technical research
• Liaising with HMRC regarding enquiries and technical queries
• Assisting with internal training and technical development initiatives
• Mentoring and supervising junior team members
• Supporting business development activities and wider team initiatives

Candidate Requirements

• UK corporate tax experience gained within professional practice
• ACA, CTA or equivalent professional qualification
• Strong technical and analytical skills
• Excellent communication and organisational abilities
• Collaborative and proactive approach to client service
• Interest in the creative industries sector
• Previous experience within creative sector tax incentives is beneficial but not essential
