Description
- Manage and maintain accurate records of accounts receivable and outstanding invoices.
- Monitor customer accounts for overdue payments and proactively follow up on collections.
- Reconcile accounts and resolve discrepancies efficiently and professionally.
- Communicate with stakeholders to address payment queries and disputes.
- Prepare and send out regular financial reports related to credit control activities.
- Collaborate with the finance team to improve credit control processes and systems.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant financial regulations and organisational policies.
- Provide support in month-end and year-end financial reporting as required.
Profile
A successful Credit Controller should have:
- Strong numerical and analytical skills relevant to accounting and finance.
- Proven experience in credit control role.
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
