This role is built for someone who prefers evidence over opinion and wants to understand the variables that actually drive business outcomes. The role
As a Data Analyst Intern, you will provide the foundational analysis that supports our consulting engagements. You will spend your time digging through client data to identify patterns that either confirm or debunk current business assumptions. This is not about building complex aesthetic dashboards: it is about performing the rigorous work required to see through the noise. You will be responsible for cleaning disparate datasets, reconciling conflicting reports, and preparing the quantitative evidence we use to advise CEOs and CFOs. Your work will directly influence the commercial advice we give to companies ranging from SaaS startups to large scale manufacturing firms.
This is a permanent, full-time position that is entirely remote. You will work closely with our senior consultants who will guide your technical development and help you understand the commercial logic behind the requests. While the work is technical, the context is always economic. You will be expected to not only find the numbers but also to help us understand why they look the way they do and what specific levers are moving them.

What we need from you

• A high level of comfort with spreadsheets, specifically using Google Sheets or Excel to organize and analyze data.
• The ability to maintain extreme attention to detail while working with large, messy datasets that contain errors or inconsistencies.
• Clear written communication skills with the ability to explain your logic and the steps you took to reach a conclusion.
• Basic familiarity with SQL or a similar tool for querying data, or a strong willingness to learn these skills quickly on the job.
• A skeptical mindset that naturally asks “does this number make sense?” rather than taking data at face value.
• The discipline to work independently in a fully remote environment while staying connected with the team through written updates and calls.
• An interest in business economics and how companies actually make money beyond the high level marketing.
