Our Client is a UK based Financial Services business embarking on an enterprise wide transformation programme. This key appointment will focus on the critical data focus programmes within the portfolio.3 Day per week in Wiltshire.6 month initial contract (VTE)Project scoped outside IR35Key ResponsibilitiesEnterprise Data ModellingDesign and maintain the enterprise conceptual, logical and physical data modelsReview and refine the existing KDE frameworkDefine canonical business data definitions across the organisationDevelop target-state data models for the Databricks Lakehouse environmentEnsure alignment between data models and business use casesKey Data Entity (KDE) OwnershipLead modelling activities for approximately 60 identified Key Data EntitiesEstablish relationships between core business entitiesDefine business rules and transformation logicCreate reusable data structures supporting multiple use casesEnsure consistency across programme workstreamsEssential ExperienceData Modelling8+ years of enterprise data modelling experienceStrong conceptual, logical and physical modelling expertiseExperience developing enterprise information modelsProven track record designing canonical data modelsData ArchitectureLakehouse architectureData WarehousingData Vault 2.0Dimensional Modelling (Kimball)Medallion ArchitectureMaster Data ManagementToolingIf this sounds of interest, please apply or reach out to nathan.maguire@actussearch.co.uk to discuss further.
