Deputy Headteacher

Salary: Leadership Scale L18 – L22 £78,702 to £86,803 per annum
John Taylor Multi Academy Trust (JTMAT) believes in the power of education to improve lives – and the world. As a partner academy in JTMAT, we are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, dynamic and committed Deputy Headteacher to fulfil an important role in our evolving organisation.
An opportunity has arisen to join the senior leadership team as Deputy Headteacher in a successful and progressive Trust, which is committed to ensuring learning is at the heart of all we do. John Taylor Free School believes every child is unique and aims to ensure that all its students succeed and thrive.
The successful candidate will lead on Inclusion across the school. This will include the successful candidate being the school’s SENDCO, providing expert guidance and leadership in this area. As the lead for Inclusion, you would take responsibility for other key areas of the school such as Looked After Children and Pupil Premium.
You will set high expectations for staff and students to contribute and support outcomes and personal development. Working alongside the Headteacher, the successful candidate will play a key role in setting the tone and acting as role models for staff and students.
