New Business Manager – Leading Drinks Supplier – London – Up to £70,000 plus commission My client is a fast-growing, international consumer goods business is entering an exciting phase of rapid expansion. The company combines strong operational capabilities, advanced logistics, and data-driven strategy to scale brands across multiple markets. This business has an exceptional WINE (spirits and beer) portfolio suitable to cross-channel success. The business has a curated portfolio within the beers, wines, and spirits category, working with a range of established producers and heritage regions. The focus is on building a high-performing commercial function to accelerate growth across the UK market. The New Business Manager will fundamentally be responsible for driving new business across their specified category, along with a bringing their commercial excellence and leadership to the role. This role requires 5 days in the London office (with days in trade or meetings included) along with a black book of contacts across either On or Off trade. New Business Manager responsibilities include: Drive revenue growth, market share expansion, and margin improvement against ambitious commercial targets Identify, target, and win new business opportunities, with a focus on securing high-value accounts Lead end-to-end commercial negotiations, including pricing, terms, and promotional agreements Leverage and expand an active network of buyers and decision-makers to accelerate market penetration Develop tailored, insight-led customer proposals aligned to category trends and commercial opportunities Establish and grow strategic relationships with key national and regional accounts Create and execute joint business plans (JBPs) to drive long-term customer growth and value creation Increase distribution, visibility, and rate of sale within existing accounts Use data, analytics, and CRM tools to improve decision-making, performance tracking, and execution Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and customer performance to identify risks and unlock new growth opportunities The Ideal New Business Manager candidate: Proven FMCG/BWS sales leader with a strong track record of winning new business and growing key accounts Strong existing network of buyers and decision-makers across UK offline channels Highly commercial, results-driven, with a clear focus on revenue growth and profitability Strong understanding of route-to-market, pricing, promotions, and customer economics Data-driven and analytically capable, with experience using CRM systems and sales performance tools If you are interested in having a chat about this role, please forward updated CV’s to Mark@corecruitment.To view other great opportunities please check out our website or call us on +44 207 790 2666 for a confidential chat about upcoming opportunities.
