The salary advertised is full time (35 hours per week). Part-time hours will be pro-rated accordingly.Hourly rate of pay: £16.70 – £17.84Temporary maternity cover for 9 months.Working 2/3 days per week mentioned in the rota below, shift times are 07:00-15:00.Week 1 – Monday, Tuesday, Saturday, & SundayTo start asap.To deliver an emergency service (24 hours 7 days per week) providing personal care and support to older people living in their own homes, in line with Department policies, procedures and standards.SVQ 2 Health and Social Care at SCQF Level 6 and/or able to demonstrate equivalent knowledge, skills and competencies gained through relevant experience.If you do not hold the above qualification, you will be required to undertake a course of study to obtain an SVQ Level 2 qualification within the required timescale to meet the requirements of SSSC.If you are appointed and are not already a member of the relevant sections of the SSSC Register, you will be required to apply for registration as soon as possible and this must be achieved within six months of your start date.Driving LicenceAs the duties of this role require you to effectively travel to successfully undertake the full remit of the role, you must hold a current driving licence and have access to a vehicle.*(*Where a disability precludes you from obtaining a driving licence, ELC will take into account its responsibility to make reasonable adjustments to allow for your disability.)This post is considered as a Regulated Role with vulnerable children and/or protected adults, as specified in the Disclosure (Scotland) Act 2020.If you have spent more than 3 months working or living out with the UK in the last 5 years then you will be required to present a copy of an overseas criminal record check.
