About the Position

We are seeking an ambitious Equine Vet who is looking for more than a routine ambulatory role. This position offers exposure to complex investigations, performance-related cases, and advanced lameness work within a well-established specialist setting.

The successful candidate will become part of a collaborative and forward-thinking team committed to delivering exceptional clinical standards and tailored treatment plans for competition horses.

This role is ideally suited to someone who enjoys problem-solving, building long-term client relationships, and working within a performance-driven environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Carrying out detailed lameness and poor performance assessments
• Performing and interpreting diagnostic imaging procedures
• Managing cases from initial assessment through to treatment and rehabilitation
• Working closely with owners, riders, trainers, and allied professionals
• Developing effective treatment and recovery strategies for equine athletes
• Maintaining accurate clinical records and delivering excellent client care

Candidate Profile

Applications are welcomed from Veterinary Surgeons who possess:

• MRCVS registration
• Previous equine veterinary experience within a clinical setting
• Confidence handling lameness and performance-related cases
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• A proactive and professional approach to case management
• A genuine passion for equine sports medicine and continuous development
