We are seeking an experienced Skilled Bus/HGV Technician to join our shift team at our Hull depot . The successful candidate will play a crucial role in servicing and maintaining our fleet of buses at our main depot in Hull, ensuring they are fully maintained, reliable, and in top condition for daily service.
You’ll be responsible for carrying out scheduled service tasks on our fleet of buses to company requirements, health and safety compliance and carrying out standard operating procedures.
This is a permanent full time role, working 39 hours a week.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct routine maintenance & servicing on a variety of buses.
Ensure all work is carried out to the highest quality and within set timeframes.
Maintain accurate records of all work completed.
Collaborate with other team members and departments to ensure smooth operations.
Experience & Qualifications
Must have a NVQ Level 2 qualification or equivalent in Vehicle Maintenance.
Proven experience working as a bus/HGV engineer or technician.
Strong knowledge of bus/HGV mechanical and electrical systems.
Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
Effective communication skills and a team player mentality.
A valid UK driving license: PCV license is desirable but not essential.
