Fashion Copy Writer / Content Executive (Social Media Focus)We are currently recruiting on behalf of a successful and growing fashion retailer for an experienced Fashion Copy Writer / Content Executive to join their Head Office marketing team.This is an exciting opportunity for a creative and commercially minded individual with a passion for fashion, digital marketing, social media, and brand storytelling. The successful candidate will play a key role in creating compelling fashion content, managing social media activity, and driving customer engagement across digital platforms.Fashion sector experience is essential.Key ResponsibilitiesWrite engaging, on-brand fashion copy for social media, website content, email campaigns, blogs, product launches, and marketing materials.Develop and deliver seasonal content strategies designed to increase brand awareness, engagement, online traffic, and revenue.Plan, create, schedule, and manage social media content across platforms including Instagram, Facebook, X, Pinterest, TikTok, and YouTube.Produce creative, trend-led content aligned with seasonal campaigns and brand identity.Support influencer outreach and collaboration campaigns, including campaign briefs, gifting, and partnership coordination.Work closely with internal teams to source imagery, create marketing content, and support wider brand campaigns.Create engaging photo and video content for use across social and digital channels.Support community management and customer engagement across all social platforms.Assist with paid social campaigns focused on audience growth and engagement.Monitor and analyse social media and content performance using GA4 and social analytics tools.Research competitor activity, market trends, influencer marketing, and emerging social media trends.Produce regular performance and engagement reports with recommendations for future improvements.Ensure all content remains customer-focused, commercially relevant, and aligned with brand guidelines.Support the growth and development of additional sub-brands and their social presence.Candidate RequirementsPrevious experience in a Copywriting, Content Executive, Social Media, or Digital Content role.Background within fashion retail, lifestyle, or a similar consumer-focused brand.Strong copywriting skills with the ability to adapt tone of voice across different channels.Excellent social media content creation skills with a strong understanding of current trends.Experience using Canva, Photoshop, or similar creative/editing software.Confident creating photo and video content using mobile devices or DSLR cameras.Experience using social scheduling, analytics, and listening tools.Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.Strong communication and collaboration skills.Commercial awareness with a results-driven approach.Passionate about fashion, branding, digital marketing, and online communities.Experience with paid social advertising is desirable.Full UK driving licence beneficial due to occasional travel requirements.What’s on OfferOpportunity to join an established and growing fashion retail businessCreative and collaborative working environmentCareer development opportunitiesCompetitive salary and benefits package
