About the role We are looking for a skilled Field Service Engineer to join our busy depot in Avonmouth. You’ll be carrying out service, maintenance, and repairs on a wide range of plant hire equipment both in our workshop and at customer sites across the South West. What you’ll do: Diagnose, service, and repair plant hire equipment (excavators, dumpers, rollers, telehandlers, etc.) Carry out planned maintenance and breakdown call-outs on customer sites Provide excellent customer support and represent our company on-site Maintain accurate service records and comply with health & safety standards What we’re looking for: Experience working on plant, construction, agricultural, or similar machinery (hydraulics, diesel engines, electrics, diagnostics) NVQ Level 2/3 in Plant, Agricultural, Mechanical or similar (preferred) Full UK driving licence (essential) A customer-focused attitude and ability to work independently What’s in it for you: Competitive salary + overtime Fully equipped company van + fuel card provided Ongoing training on leading plant brands Career progression opportunities in a growing business 22 days holiday rising to 25 with service + bank holidays + company pension Job Types: Full-time, Permanent Pay: £34,000.00-£35,000.00 per year Benefits: Company pension Work Location: In person
