Job Title: Senior Finance & Contracts Manager

Salary: up to £42,500

Location: Hybrid – up to 80% from home

Job Role: Venn Group have been approached by a Housing Association in the North West for the recruitment of a Finance Business Partner.

Duties:

• Review existing processes, identifying opportunities for improvement and implementing necessary changes.
• Work collaboratively with internal departments within the Rent and Service Charges remit to ensure customer charges are fair and deliver value for money.
• Complete accounting reconciliations and month-end management accounts, ensuring balance sheet integrity and accurate income and expenditure reporting.
• Undertake regular financial reviews and reforecasting in line with team responsibilities.
• Meet statutory timescales when issuing customer budgets and annual accounts.
• Supervise and coach team members, supporting the completion of core tasks and the development of new skills.
• Maintain accurate financial expenditure records, using the finance system to meet audit and compliance requirements.
• Support with the preparation of financial statements and year-end accounting processes.
• Liaise with internal and external auditors in relation to appropriate areas of responsibility.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of the regulatory environment, ensuring ongoing compliance with relevant requirements.

• Ensure all health and safety issues identified are reported and appropriate learning where required is shared.
