General Manager

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic General Manager to oversee the daily operations of our two music venue and restaurant in North & East London. This role is ideal for someone with a strong background in restaurant management and hospitality, combined with a passion for live music and exceptional customer service.

Day-to-day of the role:

• Lead and supervise all service operations to ensure smooth functioning on a daily basis.
• Oversee food service and presentation to maintain high quality standards.
• Manage team members effectively, including hiring, training, scheduling, and conducting performance evaluations.
• Ensure compliance with all food safety regulations and health & safety policies.
• Maintain high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent service delivery.
• Develop and implement operational policies, procedures, and standards to enhance efficiency.
• Monitor financial performance, including budgeting and cost control measures.
• Encourage professional development within the team.
• Liaise with suppliers to ensure timely procurement of ingredients and supplies.
• Address guest complaints or issues promptly to maintain the establishment’s reputation.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Proven managerial experience in a live music venue, restaurant, or similar hospitality setting.
• Extensive experience in high volume restaurant service.
• Demonstrable leadership skills with the ability to manage diverse teams.
• In-depth knowledge of food safety standards and food production processes.
• Strong organisational skills, capable of multitasking effectively under pressure.
• Excellent communication skills.
• A background in culinary arts or serving roles is advantageous.
• A recognised qualification in hospitality management or culinary arts is desirable.
