Groundworks Quantity Surveyor Location – Manchester – Salary/Package – £65,000 attractive package About the Company A well-established and rapidly growing specialist contractor operating across the UK, delivering complex projects within groundworks, civil engineering, remediation, and infrastructure. The Role As Groundworks Quantity Surveyor , you will play a key role in the commercial management of multiple projects, supporting delivery teams from pre-construction through to final account. This is a hands-on role offering exposure to technically challenging schemes and the opportunity to progress within a growing commercial structure. As Groundworks Quantity Surveyor, you will be responsible for: Commercial management of groundworks and civil engineering projects Cost control, forecasting and reporting Procurement and management of subcontractor packages Valuations, variations and change management Final accounts and commercial close-out Supporting project delivery teams with commercial strategy Maintaining strong client and supply chain relationships Ensuring projects are delivered profitably and efficiently The Ideal Candidate The successful Groundworks Quantity Surveyor will have: Proven experience within groundworks, civils or infrastructure projects Strong commercial and contractual knowledge Experience managing subcontractor packages Ability to work across multiple projects Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills A proactive, problem-solving mindset Relevant construction or commercial qualifications (desirable, not essential) What’s on Offer £65,000 basic salary Competitive package (car allowance, bonus, pension, etc.) Long-term career progression Strong project pipeline Supportive and professional working environment Opportunity to work on complex, high-value schemes Real scope for development into senior commercial roles Apply: If you’re interested in this opportunity, then please get in touch today with our Commercial Specialist, Mark Harris.
